We, at The Kind Exchange, believe there are professionals out there wishing to do something meaningful for the community. Community groups need their specific services, so we've created a platform enabling professionals to volunteer their time based on skills, experience and availability.

The Kind Exchange launched in Singapore in 2008

Our Key Objectives

• To create an online 'meeting place' for the giving and receiving of professional services
  
  
• To promote and facilitate the opportunity for professionals to volunteer their services and for community groups to receive specific and targeted volunteer professional services
  
  
• To develop and grow a culture of community involvement and charity that is not focused on just monetary giving
  
  
• To provide a platform for community-minded professionals to meet and network
  
  
• To assist community groups to improve their service delivery, including through the provision of training and seminars
  
  

Organisational Structure and Management

• The Kind Exchange Limited was incorporated on 12 December 2007 as a company limited by guarantee under Singapore's Companies Act.
  
  
• The Kind Exchange is a non-profit organisation and is registered as a charity under Singapore's Charities Act. Our memorandum and articles of association are available upon request.
  
  
• The Kind Exchange is managed by a Board of Directors which is responsible for the effective delivery of services to stakeholders.
  
  
• The Kind Exchange operates in accordance with the highest standards of transparency. We seek to comply with the Code of Governance for Charities & Institutions of a Public Character issued by the Charity Council.
